The Global Sales Manager is responsible for selling core services to international wholesale carriers and enterprises. They identify and utilize the appropriate sales channels to forge international relationships and strengthen the brand globally.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build portfolio and intensify the company’s presence in the global market by initiating and developing strategic relationships with international wholesale carriers and enterprise clients
Manage entire sales cycle including client needs assessment, proposal presentation, negotiation, closing, and aftersales requirements
Grow the margin on targeted accounts to achieve sales target as agreed upon with the Chief Growth Officer
Develop and maintain structured account development plans and contract strategies
Develop standard operating procedures, key performance indicators, appropriate parameters, and incorporate best practices in end-to-end management of international accounts
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strategize and customize developmental plans including analysis of services and pricing, utilizing market intelligence, and contributing to building a competitive advantage in the market
Identify revenue streams, expansion opportunities, and foreseeable critical areas of the business
Act as the subject matter expert of RISE products and services and educate internal customers and external prospects as appropriate
Provide support and ensure sales and operational activities are compliant with internal policies, including but not limited to data privacy and conflict of interest.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in International Wholesale Telecommunications, managing entire sales cycle for Tier 1/2 carriers and global enterprise clients.
Deep technical and commercial understanding of the global connectivity landscape, including IP Transit and peering/IX services, to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for both internal and external stakeholders.
Proven track record of managing complex, high-value contracts (MSA/SLA) and Master Services Agreements across different international jurisdictions.
Strong existing network within the global carrier community (e.g., PCCW, Telstra, Tata, Singtel) and experience representing a brand at major industry conferences like ITW or PTC.
Sufficient technical depth to discuss network topology, PoP locations, and latency requirements with both internal engineering teams and client CTOs.
Experience collaborating with internal product and engineering teams to customize developmental plans and service offerings for complex client needs.
Firm understanding of international compliance standards, including data privacy and conflict of interest policies, within the telecommunications sector.
Willingness to travel internationally for client meetings and industry conferences as required by the business.
