This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Global Solution Sales Manager - Distribution Automation. In this role, you will drive global sales growth by promoting advanced automation solutions for electrical distribution networks. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic sales plans, collaborating with regional teams, and managing key opportunities, all while ensuring that solutions meet customer needs. You will have the chance to influence the market and strengthen relationships with critical customers and partners across various regions.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global go-to-market strategy for Distribution Automation solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across regions and market segments.
  • Take ownership of global DA solution sales targets and monitor performance against targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with critical customers and strategic partners globally.
  • Promote a consultative sales approach to understand customer challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Provide direction and support to regional and local sales teams worldwide.
  • Leverage the Distribution Automation CoE in Europe for technical support and innovation.
  • Collaborate with other functions to enable smooth execution of orders.
  • Define and execute a global channel strategy for Distribution Automation solutions.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and adjust sales tactics as needed.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members and represent the business at leadership forums.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5-7 years in technical B2B sales or business development with leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of Distribution Automation technologies and electric utility distribution networks.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing major accounts.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English; Arabic is a plus.
