Role Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Team as a Graduate Accountant. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a career in finance within a dynamic and multidisciplinary marine services company.
The Graduate Accountant will support the CFO in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and maintaining compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Management Accounts
- Prepare monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlines
- Process month-end journals including prepayments, cost and revenue accruals
- Provide financial analysis and support as required by the CFO
General Accounting Duties
- Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and audit requirements
- Maintain control systems over accounting transactions
- Support accounts payable processes, including subcontractor payments and weekly payroll
- Assist with sales invoicing and other financial documentation
Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Mathematics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
