Our team is world-class. It’s the best team I’ve ever worked with because everyone here is (1) a good person who cares about the mission (2) they’re functionally great at their craft, and (3) they help each other out! It’s a very no-drama type of place which is what happens when everyone is really good at what they do.
In their past careers, people on our team helped create or build major products like QuickBooks Online, Uber Eats, Calm, and more. We love working on BIG problems for a LOT of people and believe that Intro will be the most impactful yet.
The Role
Design stellar graphic assets across paid ads, organic social, blog, email, and web
Support performance campaigns, brand initiatives, and editorial projects on a contract basis
Execute multiple assignments in parallel with fast, reliable turnaround
Build and maintain a well-organized library of design assets
Translate briefs and brand guidelines into clean, effective creative
Thrive in a fast-moving, async environment where speed, taste, and scrappiness matter
Collaborate closely with a world-class team of creative entrepreneurs
This is a hands-on, execution-heavy contract role with opportunities to shape visual systems and creative direction
What You Bring
You have strong visual taste and an intuitive sense of what resonates with audiences
You think like a marketer as well as a designer, with a solid grasp of consumer psychology
You’re versatile across typography, layout, iconography, photography, and video-adjacent design
You can take a loose brief and turn it into polished, on-brand creative
You’re fluent in modern design workflows and collaboration tools
You work quickly, manage your own time well, and consistently hit tight deadlines
You stay plugged into culture and evolving design trends
You collaborate easily – comfortable executing direction, iterating on feedback, and pitching ideas
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience as a graphic designer (or equivalent real-world experience)
A strong portfolio showing work across multiple campaigns and channels
Hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Comfort using AI tools for design ideation, iteration, and production
Experience working independently in a contract or freelance capacity
Nice to Have
Deep proficiency across Adobe Creative Suite; After Effects is a plus
Experience designing for performance marketing or conversion-focused campaigns
Familiarity with emerging AI-powered design tools and workflows
Illustration skills, motion graphics experience
Compensation
$50–$100/hour, depending on experience and skills

On your first day, we’ll do a few exercises to help you identify your life goals. We’ll ask questions like “what do you imagine your life looking like if you achieved all of your goals” and “why are those goals important to you?” Once we identify these, they become our goals and we will work together to help make them a reality.
Next, we’ll ask you about things that matter to you in the short term. These could be things like a gym membership, meditation classes, or an allowance to attend concerts. It’s an open ended exercise and we’ll come up with a perks package that makes you feel valued. Please note, we cannot yet buy you a ticket on a SpaceX rocket. It’s been asked!
