About the Role
We’re on the hunt for an ambitious, data-driven Growth Marketing Specialist (ANZ) to help take ShopBack through its next phase of growth. Based out of our Sydney office, you’ll be instrumental in scaling customer acquisition for one of ShopBack’s biggest and fastest-growing markets, combining analytical rigour with creative flair. This is a unique opportunity to drive customer acquisition and strategic growth as we work towards becoming a household name across Australia and New Zealand.
Your Adventure Ahead
Performance Marketing (Paid Social & Content)
Contribute to driving performance and scaling acquisition across channels, supported by a manager and in-house performance teams
Lead + execute paid social content strategy: Generate and test ideas, brief graphic designers & content creators, and optimise to maximise efficiency and conversion
Run a continuous test-measure-learn process across creatives, targeting, and landing experiences
Stay ahead of industry and platform shifts, making sure ShopBack is always pushing boundaries
Local Growth Levers
Champion high-impact campaigns & our Refer-a-Friend programme to drive user growth, collaborating closely with the ANZ Campaigns & CRM team
Build and manage select influencer partnerships that amplify our paid efforts
Explore and activate other partnership opportunities to support acquisition at efficient unit economics
Budget & Analytics
Take ownership of allocated marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently for maximum impact
Monitor performance in detail and translate insights into better strategies
Essentials to Succeed
Experience & Skills
3-5 years in growth, performance, or digital marketing, ideally in tech, e-commerce, or high-growth environments
Experience scaling paid social campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok, YouTube)
Data literate, able to use insights to drive optimisations and inform decisions
Solid experience with budget management and Excel/Sheets
A strong balance of analytical chops and creative spark; have worked closely with creative teams and/or creators to develop high-performing ads
Track record of collaborating cross-functionally across creative, CRM, and business teams
