About the role
We are seeking an Intern, Operations who will oversee the daily operations of various key functions within the organization, including customer service, Video Consult and Medical claims as well manage various stakeholders on operations-related issues
This role is based in Malaysia and reports directly to the Associate General Manager, Malaysia
A summary of the key responsibilities and requirements are as follows:
- Handle day-to-day operational issues and ensure issues are resolved in a proper and timely manner.
- Resolve customers’ technical issues and provide feedback and analysis.
- Responsible for monitoring customers’ payment status.
- Work with courier riders/external delivery partners to ensure a smooth fulfillment process with excellent customer satisfaction.
- Deal with all instructions, queries and service requests promptly, accurately and within company specified time frames.
- Handle enquiries received via phone and email while ensuring a high standard of quality in terms of business integrity and customer experience.
- Share utilisation reports to corporate accounts / insurers / TPAs
- Prepare user manual to educate new corporate groups on how to use the services
- Identify process gaps within the department and drive improvement.
- Any other adhoc duties assigned when appropriate.
About you
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field..
- Superior listening, good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to proactively seek solutions while maintaining a calm disposition.
- Proficient in MS Office and G Suite in particular Excel and Google Sheets
- Genuine curiosity and strong desire to continuously learn and grow
- A start-up attitude - you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things - we’re not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun!
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and execution skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
