Hardware Verification Engineer (m/f/div)

Your contribution to something big: 

• Develop and execute verification plans for electronic and electromechanical components. 
• Perform environmental and mechanical stress tests (thermal cycling, vibration, shock, humidity, IPx/IKx ingress protection). 
• Validate compliance with industry standards (IEC, ISO, MIL-STD, EN). 
• Design and automate test procedures for reliability and performance. 
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment: Thermal chambers, shock and vibration machines, IPx/IKx ingress testers, drop testers, and salt mist chambers. 
• Conduct root cause analysis using advanced tools. 
• Document test results and prepare reports for design and certification teams. 
• Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Certification teams to ensure ‘First Time Right’ product launches. 
• Support continuous improvement of reliability engineering processes. 

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 
• 3+ years in hardware verification, reliability testing, or environmental testing. 
• Familiarity with video security systems or electronic hardware preferred. 
• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles (FMEA, RCA). 
• Hands-on experience with environmental test equipment and data acquisition systems. 
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, LabVIEW) for test automation is a plus. 
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work in cross-functional teams. 
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.

As a Hardware Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for validating and verifying hardware components and systems for our video security products. Your mission is to ensure that all hardware meets functional specifications, complies with international certification standards, and achieves long-term reliability under real-world conditions. This role is critical to guaranteeing the robustness and quality of our products before they reach global markets.
