The Role
The Head of Marketing will own Mosaic’s global marketing strategy and execution, with an immediate focus on driving high-quality pipeline in the US market. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to a player-coach who can think strategically while also executing at a high level.
You will report into the Founder/CEO and partner tightly with Sales to drive MQLs, influence revenue outcomes and establish Mosaic as the category leader in AI deal modeling. This role is based full-time in our Midtown Manhattan office.
This role blends enterprise demand generation, brand building, thought leadership and bespoke event marketing in a high-trust financial services context.
Key Responsibilities
Pipeline and Demand Generation
Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets across the US market
Design and execute a scalable MQL engine aligned to enterprise sales cycles
Plan, manage and optimize paid media investment across channels such as LinkedIn, search and retargeting
Partner closely with Sales to ensure alignment on ICP definition, lead quality, handoff and conversion
Brand, Category and Thought Leadership
Position Mosaic as the category-defining AI deal modeling platform for private equity and investment banking
Develop and execute a clear brand and messaging framework that resonates with senior finance professionals
Build a high-impact thought leadership program across content, social, PR and executive visibility
Shape Mosaic’s external narrative in line with a tone and credibility that you will define
Events and Community
Own Mosaic’s events strategy, including flagship bespoke experiences and selective executive dinners
Scale proven formats such as leadership forums and next-generation private equity dinners
Ensure events directly support pipeline generation, relationship building and long-term brand equity
Product Marketing and Strategy
Lead product marketing initiatives including launches, positioning, sales enablement and customer proof points
Partner with the CEO and other senior leaders to develop Mosaic’s product strategy, bringing the voice of the customer into roadmap discussions
Translate customer insights, market trends and competitive dynamics into actionable product and go-to-market recommendations
PR and External Communications
Work with PR partners to secure high-quality media coverage in relevant finance, technology and deal-making publications
Develop case studies and customer stories with named, credible institutions
Team, Budget and Operations
Build Mosaic’s marketing function from scratch, initially managing a network of freelancers and agencies
Own the marketing budget and allocate spend with a clear ROI mindset
Establish reporting, dashboards and attribution to track performance against pipeline goals
Lay the foundation for future in-house hires as the company scales
What We’re Looking For
Experience
8 to 12+ years in B2B SaaS or financial services marketing
Proven experience driving enterprise pipeline in a sales-led environment
Experience marketing to private equity, investment banking or adjacent financial services audiences strongly preferred
Track record of owning revenue-aligned marketing targets
Skills and Capabilities
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute independently
Deep understanding of enterprise buyer journeys and long sales cycles
High bar for quality, credibility and attention to detail
Comfortable operating as the first marketing hire in a fast-moving scale-up
Confident working directly with founders and senior sales leaders
Style and Mindset
Player-coach who enjoys building as much as leading
Commercially minded with strong business judgement
Calm, credible and outcome-focused, with modern SaaS instincts
Comfortable representing the company externally with senior finance leaders
