Head of SEO

We’re looking for a bold, forward-thinking Head of SEO to lead and scale our SEO discipline and help position Wpromote at the forefront of AI Search and organic discovery. This is a senior leadership role accountable for SEO strategy, innovation, team leadership, and client outcomes—with a direct impact on client retention, revenue growth, and the future of organic search at the agency.

Reporting into our VP, Organic Growth, you will lead a team of 35+ SEO professionals, drive enterprise and AI-powered SEO strategies, develop new service offerings, and partner closely with Sales, Strategy, and executive leadership to shape POVs and win new business. The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $168,000 - $198,000, based on consideration of a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.

This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions
