Head Office - Senior Accounts Officer

We are currently seeking a Senior Accounts Officer to support our team.

The Job

• Prepare monthly management statements on time for company financial review
• Generate daily revenue reports and manage bank deposits
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting with Department Heads and CFO
• Prepare cash flow and other reports as requested by Group CFO or Senior Management
• Submit VAT Returns accurately and on time
• Collaborate with departments to analyze financial data for projects and business opportunities
• Maintain strong internal financial controls
• Serve as a point of contact for external auditors, ensuring smooth statutory audit preparation
• Support accounts team with cash settlements and accounts receivable monitoring
• Monitor debtors and credit control, reporting to Group CFO and Senior Management
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Finance policies and procedures
• Identify and suggest improvements to Finance processes and systems
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Group CFO

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
• 3+ years in accounting or finance, preferably with experience in a structured business environment
• Good knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and VAT compliance
• Skilled in accounting software and Excel
• Detail-oriented with good analytical abilities
• Experience with audits and internal controls
