The HR Project Manager will serve as a partner providing responsive, high-touch HR consultation on a wide range of people-related matters. This role is designed to address ad hoc, ambiguous, or complex requests that fall outside the scope of transactional HR services and require diagnostic thinking, coaching, and strategic guidance. The primary emphasis is on providing expert HR consultation to drive HR effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership & Group-Level HR Projects
  • Act as a strategic partner to the Head of HR, supporting group-level HR initiatives and transformation efforts, particularly in areas that are currently unowned or under-resourced as the organization scales. These include international HR governance, cross-border coordination, and JV/EOR oversight.
  • Ownership of Major HR Projects
  • Lead and drive major HR projects, including:
  • A comprehensive HR system landscape survey and evaluation, and
  • A revamp of the performance management framework, ensuring alignment with business strategy and organizational maturity.
  • Capacity, Coverage & Organizational Readiness
  • Provide additional coverage and structural support for HR Operations Lead and HRBP functions, reducing single-point dependency risks and ensuring stable HR operations as the organization grows.
  • Advisory & Problem-Solving Role
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on complex HR topics, providing structured analysis, recommendations, and execution support where issues require cross-functional coordination or strategic intervention beyond day-to-day HR operations.
  • Requirements:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated exposure to HR projects, HR transformation, or cross-functional initiatives, preferably in regional or international environments.
  • Strong understanding of HR governance and cross-border HR practices, including experience working with multiple jurisdictions, JV/EOR structures, or external vendors.
  • Proven project ownership capability, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, drive initiatives end-to-end, and deliver outcomes with limited supervision.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage effectively with senior leaders, internal teams, and external partners in a consultative manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical HR solutions, frameworks, or recommendations.
