We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources professional to support day-to-day HR operations, payroll processing, and HRIS management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth employee lifecycle management, accurate payroll execution, and effective maintenance of HR systems and data. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who enjoys working with processes, data, and people while contributing to operational excellence within the HR function.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, documentation, confirmations, transfers, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR documentation in compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee HR-related queries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Support HR audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth HR operations across departments.

Payroll Management

  • Support monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in attendance, leaves, incentives, deductions, and statutory components.
  • Coordinate with finance and payroll vendors to ensure timely payroll closure and salary disbursements.
  • Manage payroll inputs, salary revisions, and final settlements.
  • Handle statutory compliance related to payroll including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other applicable regulations.
  • Address payroll-related employee queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

HRIS & Database Management

  • Maintain and manage HRIS platforms, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data.
  • Perform regular audits and validation checks on HRIS data to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards related to headcount, attrition, attendance, payroll, and compliance.
  • Support HRIS enhancements, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
  • Ensure data security, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, payroll processes, and HRIS systems.
  • Hands-on experience in HRIS database management and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and HR software tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in HR operations, payroll, and HRIS management.
  • Prior experience working with HR software or payroll tools is preferred.
