ICT/Coding Teacher
Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated ICT/Coding Teacher to join our team at Westview International School . We are seeking a passionate educator who is eager to inspire and engage students in the world of Information and Communication Technology and coding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive ICT and coding lessons to students across various grade levels, ensuring all lesson plans are aligned with the curriculum.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to create an interactive and engaging learning environment.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through regular feedback, assignments, and practical coding projects.
- Encourage students to explore their creativity and problem-solving skills through hands-on coding exercises and collaborative projects.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in technology and coding education, integrating new concepts and tools into the curriculum as appropriate.
- Support and guide students in developing their understanding of computer science principles, coding languages, and software development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and encouraged to express themselves.
- Engage with parents and the school community to promote the importance of ICT and coding education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or certification is preferred.
- Experience teaching ICT and coding to students, preferably in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of various programming languages and ICT tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with colleagues.
- Passion for technology and education, with a desire to inspire students to explore the digital world.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
