About the Firm

Our client is a well-established, immigration-only law firm known nationwide for its work in employment-based immigration. Role Overview

This role is ideal for an attorney with at least one year of employment-based immigration experience who wants to deepen technical skills while remaining client-facing. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing up to two remote days per week, while maintaining a collaborative in-office environment.

Candidates with approximately 6 months of strong, relevant business immigration experience may be considered depending on background and training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employment-based immigration matters from intake through filing and approval
  • Prepare and file PERM labor certifications, immigrant visa petitions, and nonimmigrant petitions (H-1B, L-1, E visas, etc.)
  • Conduct legal research and prepare filings for government agencies
  • Communicate directly with corporate clients and individual stakeholders
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely, accurate submissions
  • Review and oversee work prepared by legal assistants and paralegals
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical case files

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in any U.S. jurisdiction (immigration law is federal)
  • Minimum 1 year of employment-based immigration experience
  • Strong legal writing, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters in a deadline-driven environment
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship status to be discussed)
