The Role
As an Implementation Specialist at Secureframe, you will own the end-to-end onboarding experience for customers, managing both backend configuration and customer-facing implementation. You will serve as the primary point of contact during onboarding while also executing the technical provisioning, compliance framework mappings, and operational setup required to successfully launch customers on the Secureframe platform.
This role requires a balance of technical execution, project management, and customer communication. You will work cross-functionally with Compliance, Customer Success, Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless implementations that are delivered on time and with high quality.
What you'll do
Serve as the main point of contact for SMB customers during onboarding and early adoption.Guide customers through the full implementation lifecycle, from kickoff to handoff.Develop a deep understanding of the Secureframe platform and tailor onboarding workflows to customer needs.Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.Provide clear, proactive communication (written and verbal) throughout the onboarding process.Monitor customer progress, identify risks, and take action to keep implementations on track.Partner with Customer Success Managers to ensure a seamless post-implementation handoff.Create and deliver training materials, best practices, and user guidance to drive adoption.Provision and configure new customer accounts within the Secureframe platform.Execute backend onboarding workflows, change requests, and operational setup tasks.Assist the Compliance team with standard and custom compliance framework mappings (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).Handle customer communications related to provisioning, integrations, and technical setup.Troubleshoot implementation-related issues and coordinate with Support, Product, or Engineering as needed.Create, update, and maintain internal documentation, runbooks, and implementation best practices.Gather internal and customer feedback to continuously improve implementation processes and tooling.
Who we're looking for
1–2 years of experience in implementation, onboarding, technical support, project coordination, or IT consulting.Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and similar standards.Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations in parallel.Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Detail-oriented and process-driven with a strong customer-first mindset.Comfortable handling both backend technical configuration and customer-facing responsibilities.Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment with evolving processes.
