In-House Counsel (Regulatory)

We picture you as an In-House Counsel with a solid background in law and a strong interest in regulatory matters. Working closely with business owners and the Head of Legal, you handle both routine and complex legal questions, managing day-to-day tasks while contributing to more challenging legal topics.

👉 What you'll do

• Interpret and ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the crypto/fintech sector

• Research relevant legal regulations (financial, hardware production, data protection, cybersecurity etc.) mainly within the EU, cooperate on research with external advisors from other jurisdictions

• Advise on the legal aspects of new features, product launches and business strategies

• Provide guidance on legal matters across the company, including contractual, regulatory, and employment issues

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring legal and commercial risks are minimized

• Stay abreast of legislative changes in the EEA, UK, and USA that could impact company operations

💪 About you

• Have at least 3 year of experience in a legal role, preferably in financial regulation or other regulatory field (law firm or an in-house position)

• Familiarity with EU regulatory environment

• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legal documents and provide clear, actionable advice

• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating legal concepts to non-legal personnel

• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with tight deadlines

• Experience in conducting legal research and staying current with evolving legal trends

• Proficient in using technology and legal research tools
