About the role
Under the guidance of the Information Security Manager, the Information Security Engineer will play a key role in the ongoing development, implementation, and enhancement of the Group’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) and its supporting processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate accountability in executing projects and tasks, collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams, and delivering consistently high‑quality results.
Key Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the planning and execution of Information Security projects.
Collaborate with ICT engineers in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber incidents.
Prepare Information Security reports and support ISMS improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
Participate in and conduct Cyber Risk Assessments, awareness trainings, and simulations.
As part of a cross‑functional team, monitor the performance of key cybersecurity systems and ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.
Candidate must have
University Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on professional experience in Information Security.
Strong understanding of networks and Microsoft’s security ecosystem.
Familiarity with ICT technologies, including hardware, software, and managed Information Security solutions.
Solid knowledge of Information Security principles, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
Strong interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively on numerous projects, under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pursue continuous development of personal and professional skills through training and hands-on experience.
Knowledge sharing and team‑oriented mindset.
Good to have
Relevant Information Security certifications (e.g., Microsoft SC‑100/200/300/400, AZ‑500).
Previous experience in the Maritime Industry.
Familiarity with Information Security standards such as ISO27001, NIST, CSF, etc.
Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and industry best practices, particularly those relevant to Maritime Information Security.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
