What this job can offer you
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an Information Security Specialist, joining our Security team.
You will be a core part of the information security team, performing various tasks to protect Remote’s information including, amongst others, process improvement, compliance, risk management. You will lead our efforts in maintaining a high-standard security posture, specifically driving our SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and NIS2 programs. You’ll act as the bridge between our high-level policy and our daily technical operations.
What you bring
- Proven experience in information security
- Familiarity with security compliance certifications (SOC2, ISO27001, NIS2, PCI-DSS, etc.), with experience taking a company through audits
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements to technical controls
- Experience in managing information security risk and controls
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in incident management is considered a plus
- Any relevant security certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001 LA / LI, etc) is considered a plus
- Remote work experience is also a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and operating Remote’s Information Security Management System
- Keeping Remote certified against the Compliance Frameworks we abide by: SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, NIS2
- Provide support and expertise for due diligence initiatives performed by our existing and prospective customers
- Assess compliance of systems against security requirements and standards
- Participate in the risk management process
- Participate in incident management
- Participate in AI security governance
- Close collaboration with the team members and other departments

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

Therefore, all compensation changes associated with an internal move will be reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case by case basis.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is
$36,900—$83,050 USD
