Infra Analyst (VC)
Key responsibilities
- Deal Sourcing
- Drive and own the infrastructure investment strategy across all segments (L1/L2, ZK cryptography, dev tools, data infrastructure)
- Proactively generate deal flow within the infrastructure vertical
- Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and accelerators in the infrastructure space
- Identify emerging infrastructure trends and investment opportunities
- Deal Execution
- Lead due diligence processes on prospective infrastructure investments
- Structure and negotiate investment terms
- Build investment theses for various infrastructure segments
- Work with the investment team to evaluate technical aspects of infrastructure deals
- Portfolio management
- Provide hands-on support to portfolio companies, particularly on technical and strategic matters
- Monitor portfolio progress and identify follow-on investment opportunities
- Facilitate connections between portfolio companies and ecosystem players
- Support portfolio companies with recruiting, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
- Thought leadership
- Establish the firm's presence in the infrastructure space
- Develop and articulate views on future of blockchain infrastructure
- Present at industry conferences and events
- Create content to position the firm as an infrastructure thought leader
- Establish relationships with technical communities and developer ecosystems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in crypto infrastructure investment, development, or related technical roles
- Deep technical understanding of blockchain infrastructure including L1/L2 protocols, scaling solutions, developer tooling
- Strong track record of successful infrastructure investments or project development
- Experience evaluating technical architecture, infrastructure design and technical teams
- Strong network within the blockchain infrastructure ecosystem
- Outstanding communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
