THE WORK:

  • You’ll assist in coordinating and overseeing all phases of pre-construction, project development, bid/award, and project close-out for assigned projects.
  • You’ll work closely with the PDPM to validate existing site conditions in preparation of project scope.
  • You’ll draft concept drawings to support visualization of project scope.
  • You’ll review design team feedback and proposed scopes of work and provide recommendations to the PDPM.
  • You’ll draft status and progress reports for the PDPM and management.
  • You’ll coordinate with public agencies, utilities, and government representatives to satisfy federal and state requirements and ensure timely project approvals.
  • You’ll assist the PDPM in monitoring project budgets and ensuring financial alignment with project progress.
  • You’ll assist the PDPM in reviewing overall planning, design, and construction progress to ensure scope compliance with approved project definitions.
  • You’ll assist project teams with contracts, bidding, and contract planning.
  • You’ll assist in developing and improving project or program policy guidelines and procedures.
  • You’ll recommend new developments and strategies impacting program objectives and outcomes.
  • You’ll collaborate with technical personnel to estimate building costs and scope changes.
  • You’ll maintain facility inventory maps using AutoCAD software.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor's degree, preferably in architecture, engineering, construction management.
  • Possession of a valid Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential may be substituted for the required education
  • Candidates who do not meet the education requirement may substitute experience on a year-for-year basis and demonstrate extensive proficiency in the duties indicated
  • Minimum of five (5) years full-time paid professional experience in the Project/Construction Management, preferably in an educational facility or public agency project; involved in all phases of construction, including pre-construction activities and planning, monitoring construction progress and close-out activities.
  • Experience in safety construction protocols, Cal OSHA requirements and environmental procedures.
  • BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel, Powerpoint), Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD, Report writing, Revit & Revit Enscape, Arc GIS
