We are looking for a motivated Intern Data Engineer to join our agile delivery team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and analytics solutions while working alongside experienced engineers, Tech Leads, QAs, and Product Owners.

Main Responsibilities

  • Writing queries to support data analysis and exploration
  • Implementing data visualizations
  • Creating and maintaining project documentation
  • Analyzing business and technical requirements

Project Technology Stack: Azure Cloud, Databricks, Python, .NET, SQL, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Power BI

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL (preferably SparkSQL; T‑SQL, PL/SQL, or other dialects also acceptable)
  • Basic understanding of Power BI: semantic models, visualizations, DAX measures
  • Familiarity with relational SQL databases
  • Basic knowledge of data engineering and data warehousing concepts: data warehouse, data lake, ETL/ELT, Big Data, star schema
  • Understanding of software development/version control processes
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice to have skills

  • Ability to create Databricks jobs
  • Basic programming skills in Python
  • Familiarity with Python libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, NumPy
  • DevOps mindset / experience with CI/CD tools
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to Big Data technologies

Additional Information

Hybrid work model: 2 days from the office, 3 days of home office.

Office locations: Katowice, Poznań, Warszawa, Lublin, Rzeszów

We require full time availability (Monday to Friday, 8h per day)
