In support of Air Force Information Networks (AFIN) Mission Assurance Center (AMAC) mission, perform AFIN User Cyber Security Event Tracking and Resolution. Complete tasks designed to ensure security of the organization's systems and information assets. Protect against unauthorized access, modification, exposure, or destruction as part of the Negligent Disclosure of Classified Information (NDCI) team.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Perform AFIN User Cyber Security Event Tracking and ResolutionProcess, coordinate, track, analyze, document, and report AFIN NDCI events; electronic storage incidents (ESIs); personally identifiable information (PII) incidents; cyber security events (CSEs); Active Indicator Monitoring (AIM) events; Network Vulnerability Reports (NVRs); AFIN incidents and high interest itemsDirectly support cyber operations across the AFIN working directly with 688 CW leadership, AMAC, 16 AF, Major Commands, (MAJCOMs), base comm focal points (CFPs), 83rd and 561st Network Operations Squadron (NOS), 690th and 691st Communication Operations Squadrons (COS), and 616th Operations CenterPerform cradle-to-grave processing of initial declarationCoordinate sanitization at enterprise and base levelPerform weekly and monthly trend analysisPerform other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Requires an associate degree and 2-3 years of related experience, or 3-5 years of related experience
Certifications
IAM I – Security+, Cloud+, CAP, GSLC, CND, or higher is required
Security Clearance
Required: Must have active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibilityDesired: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)
Shift - This is a Monday - Friday mission, and the ability to support Days and Swings operations is required. If a schedule change is required to support operations, you will be provided with as much notice as the situation allows. All shifts are 9-hour days with an hour for lunch. Extended hours/days may be required on occasion.
