Job Title: Java Developer with Azure Experience

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer who is proficient in leveraging Azure cloud services to build and maintain robust applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience with cloud applications, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications in an Azure environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver server-side logic, and ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications in an Azure cloud environment.

• Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Utilize Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database to enhance application functionality.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in the cloud environment.
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions based on stakeholder input.
• Stay current with the latest Azure services and Java development practices.
• Write technical documentation and conduct code reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and architecture.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
