(JE) Accountant (Supervisor/Lead) - Permanent/Onsite, San Juan

Summary:
As an Accounting Lead / Supervisor you will oversee the accounting operations and guide a small team of professionals. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with standards, and smooth day-to-day accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the accounting team
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings
• Review financial reports and provide insights to management
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
• At least 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, with years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Proficient in accounting systems and Excel
• Strong leadership and communication skills
