JourneyOne - Technical Lead
We are seeking a Technical Lead to join JourneyOne, one of Rmkble’s specialist businesses dedicated to taking clients on remarkable transformation journeys.
As a Technical Lead, you will join a team of builders shaping impactful outcomes for our clients. You are a leader with strong hands-on software engineering capability and excellent people skills, able to guide global engineering teams in delivering cutting-edge AI-enabled solutions. You bring a blend of technical credibility and business engagement skills, with a proven ability to translate business opportunities into real value by uplifting teams and driving delivery quality and throughput.
Job Requirements:
Team Leadership Experience
- Leading remote development teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Providing guidance on work breakdown, solution design, and problem resolution
- Mentoring team members on software engineering best practices
- Reporting on delivery progress and providing regular stakeholder updates
Technical Experience
- Designing scalable cloud solutions integrated into large corporate environments
- Developing cloud-native, serverless solutions using NodeJS and React under AWS; Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS
- Developing data engineering solutions using Python
- Establishing and maintaining development environments that support automation through CI/CD
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM roles, and enterprise security standards
- Working knowledge of AWS database services, including DynamoDB, RDS, and Aurora
- Working knowledge of data pipeline architectures and ETL processes
- Broad working knowledge across AWS services
- Exposure to at least one AI agent development framework, such as AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio, LangChain, or similar
Product Development Experience
- Working closely with product managers and business partners to understand requirements and their relationship to business value
- Collaborating with product managers to ideate and shape solution options
- Breaking down proposed solutions into epics and user stories, including estimation
- Leading showcases of prototypes, MVPs, and delivered solutions
