Junior Buyer - JD Sports

We are looking for a talented & passionate Junior Buyer for the Commercial Department, based in our offices in Kolonos, Athens.

Key Responsibilities

• Weekly purchase order input
• Monthly -Always Available- buys
• Power Point presentation upkeep (master CAD monitoring)
• Admin support
• Maintain comprehensive records of all internal and external appointments
• Analysis and review of previous weeks sales with the merchandising department to propose and drive actions for the week ahead
• Constantly awareness of new brands and opportunities to diversify and drive department/category sales
• Act as the company's ambassador in all appointments with suppliers and attend all trade shows.
• Conduct regular store visits to monitor product placement and gather feedback from store staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketingor MBA will be considered as a plus
• Experience in Retail or Commercial Department will be considered as huge plus
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a cross-functional team
• Strong presentation and communication skills, written and verbal
• Solution oriented and open minded to new ways of working
• Fluent in English both written and orally is a must
• Computer skills incl. Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
