Junior Consultant Colon and Rectal Surgeon

Responsibilities:

• Assist in assessing and diagnosing patients with colorectal disorders
• Participate in surgical procedures alongside senior surgeons
• Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans for patients
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care under supervision
• Engage in patient education regarding their conditions and treatment options
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Continuously update knowledge of colorectal surgery practices and advancements

Requirements

• Medical degree with an active license to practice medicine
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery with a strong interest in Colon and Rectal Surgery
• Previous clinical experience or externship in a surgical setting is a plus
• Awareness of colorectal surgical procedures and techniques
• Good analytical and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication skills for patient interactions and teamwork
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a dynamic medical environment
