Position Overview

The Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of surgical conditions affecting the oral cavity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing complex dental surgeries and collaborating effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose oral health issues through detailed examinations and imaging studies.
• Develop individualized surgical treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific needs.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, and jaw realignment surgeries.
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up to ensure optimal recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other dental and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients on procedures, potential risks, and aftercare to promote informed decision-making.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in oral and dental surgery to enhance clinical practices.

Requirements

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Board certification and an active license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Extensive experience in performing surgical procedures in an oral health setting.
• Strong knowledge of oral pathology and surgical methodologies.
