Junior Data Scientist

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Junior Data Scientist for one of our partners, a global leader in the IT Services and IT Consulting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• 0 to 2 years of experience required.
• Internship or academic projects showcasing practical data analysis or ML work.
• Optional certifications (Google Data Analytics, IBM Data Science, etc.).

• Technical Requirements
• Programming: Solid skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL.
• Technical skills:
• Cleans and prepares structured datasets using Pandas or Power Query.
• Can visualize insights with Matplotlib, Seaborn.
• Understands and implements Machine learning models.
• Basic understanding of text preprocessing (tokenization, stop words, TF-IDF).
• Exposure to pretrained models via Hugging Face for small tasks (e.g., sentiment analysis).
• Soft Skills
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn from mentors.
• Strong analytical thinking and communication of results.
• Works effectively under supervision within cross-functional teams.
