The LATAM Cost Controller will be responsible for controlling logistics and business waste across Latin American countries. This role partners closely with the Operations to ensure strong financial controls, accurate accounting, and disciplined cost management within budget.
The role plays a key part in month-end activities in coordination with the Supply Chain Finance Services team in Europe, while also supporting management through savings tracking, KPI analysis, and value creation initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong attention to detail with the ability to implement effective controls while maintaining agility and simplification.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Own month-end accounting activities for logistics and business waste across LATAM.
- Implement and maintain a robust financial controls framework.
- Partner with the FP&A Manager to set-up the budgets and forecasts for the quarter and annual processes.
- Report monthly financial performance, including variance analysis versus forecast and KPIs.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Operations team to find Value Creation Projects and savings and do a permanent tracking and year end projection.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Finance, Cost Controlling, or similar roles.
- Solid experience in cost controlling, budgeting, and financial analysis within Supply Chain.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- SAP experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail, control mindset, and ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Advanced English proficiency.
