Job Description:
You will lead the technical development of an end-to-end operating system designed to decarbonize home energy. Balancing hands-on high-leverage coding with technical strategy, you will mentor engineers and solve complex real-world problems involving geospatial analysis and hardware integrations to accelerate the UK’s transition to clean, green renewable energy systems.

Location: Bristol and London, UK

What you will do:

• Own the technical architecture and strategy for core domains and cross-cutting product solutions.

• Write foundational, high-leverage code and proactively identify scaling risks or technical debt.

• Mentor senior engineers to develop technical leadership skills while improving overall team health and processes.

The ideal candidate:

• Extensive experience with modern TypeScript, Node.js, React, and relational database modeling.

• Proven ability to solve ambiguous, real-world problems beyond standard CRUD applications.

• Strong product-mindedness with the ability to balance technical quality against rapid shipping momentum.
