POSITION SUMMARY
The Lease Abstraction and Data Intern will support the Lease Administration team in managing a diverse commercial real estate portfolio by assisting with lease abstraction, data validation, and system maintenance. This role focuses on using AI-enabled tools to extract and organize key lease information, validating outputs for accuracy, and ensuring data is properly structured and maintained within Yardi.
Working closely with the Lease Administration team, the intern will help improve the efficiency and accuracy of lease data workflows by refining AI-assisted processes, supporting data audits, and contributing to reporting and portfolio initiatives. The internship provides hands-on exposure to commercial real estate operations, lease administration systems, and the practical use of AI tools in a business environment.
Full-time: 40 hours per week from June 1st, 2026, until August 7th, 2026.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Lease Administration team in reviewing, interpreting, and abstracting key business, financial, and legal terms from commercial leases using AI softwareUtilize AI tools to extract data from lease documents and PDFs, applying standardized prompts and workflows to ensure consistent and accurate outputsCollaborate with the team to refine prompts, workflows, and processes that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and usability of AI-generated lease dataInput, update, and maintain lease information, documents, and key terms within YardiEnsure data integrity by conducting routine audits and cross-checking entries against source documentsTranslate AI-extracted lease information into structured formats, including tables and data fields, for upload and maintenance within YardiSupport the monitoring and tracking of critical lease dates to help ensure timely notifications and complianceAssist in generating reports and maintaining dashboards to support visibility into upcoming milestonesParticipate in various portfolio-related initiatives, including data cleanup, process improvement efforts, and system enhancements aimed at improving operational efficiencyContribute to research, analysis, and documentation that support strategic decision-making within the real estate portfolioProvide general administrative support to the Lease Administration team as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS
