The Clinician II serves in a professional counseling capacity to deliver behavioral health services on behalf of the agency for the clients that are enrolled, while integrating evidence-based and best practices and strategies associated with neuroscience, trauma informed care,dual generation practices and resiliency, while ensuring that services provided are in alignment with the Social Determinants of Health through a trauma informed care lens as defined by the agency. The Clinician II carries a full clinical caseload with the appropriate case mix of shorter and longer term cases, accompanied by regular supervision. Counseling program services are provided in the client’s home, office and/or in various community-based locations.
1. Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social work or other related areas. 2. Certificate or license, as applicable, by the appropriate state agency preferred. The Clinician II must hold at least one of the following: (1) LPC or LMFT and must have an active CAQH listing (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare database), AND an active Medicaid approved credentialing. (2) LCSW and must have an active CAQH listing (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare database) AND Medicare approved. (3) LMSW while actively working on the LCSW with appropriate documented clinical supervision. . 3. Two years post masters experience. 4. Prefer fluency in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable.
