LIHTC Leasing Consultant- Spanish Speaking (30024)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED
- Experience with LIHTC/tax credit REQUIRED
- Experience with Yardi or similar software strongly preferred
- Greet and tour prospective residents.
- Promote available units and amenities via online platforms, signage, and outreach.
- Explain lease terms, application requirements, and pricing.
- Processes and maintains accurate resident files
- Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
- Processes re-certifications, renewals, and assists with retention efforts
- Understand and communicate lease provisions and community policies to new and current residents.
- Assists applicant with the application process
- Creates and updates waitlist
- Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
- Ensuring resident satisfaction through effective communication and proactive issue resolution.
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections with residents
Qualifications
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish), both written and spoken. - Required
- Strong understanding of LIHTC regulations, income limits, and compliance rules. - Required
- Knowledge of Property Management software: Yardi - Preferred
- Knowledge of affordable housing/government programs
- Excellent customer service: someone who can navigate all types of situations
- Attention to detail
- Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws and Cal-OSHA
- Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
- Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Additional Information
Pines at Castle Rock - 630 Units
$22-$24/hr
Schedule will rotate during the following days/ times: Monday-Saturday 8-6p (full-time, days off will rotate between Sunday/Monday and Sunday/Wednesday, hours change seasonally)
