Locum Senior/Advanced MSK Physiotherapist (Remote)

Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday between 8am-9pm (Weekend shifts also available)
Minimum 16 hours per week up to full time hours
Contract Length: Locum basis, ongoing requirement
Hourly rate: £35 per hour
Start date: 1st March

About the Role
We are recruiting a Senior / Advanced MSK Physiotherapist to deliver fully remote MSK clinics. The clinician must be able to manage MSK patients autonomously end-to-end, including assessment, diagnosis, prescribing, investigations, and onward referral where required.
Clinics are delivered virtually using structured appointment slots and clinical governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver advanced MSK assessment and management via virtual consultations, working to 15 minute appointments
• Independently prescribe for MSK conditions
• Request and interpret imaging and blood tests
• Use radiology requesting systems (ICE or similar)
• Manage patients end-to-end including treatment plans and referrals
• Work within agreed clinical governance and escalation pathways
• Document consultations to required standards using Systm One
What We’re Looking For
• Advanced MSK assessment and management experience
• Independent Prescriber qualification
• Level 7 Advanced Practice / PGDip (preferred)
• Imaging and blood test requesting experience
• ICE or similar radiology requesting system experience
• Experience delivering virtual MSK consultations
• Comfortable working autonomously
• NHS email and smartcard number required
