We are experiencing rapid growth and are looking for an M&A Analyst with DSO or MSO experience to join our team at our headquarters in Richardson, Texas.
Requirements
As an M&A Analyst at Xite, you will be integral in supporting our advisory, brokerage, and valuation teams. The position requires an analytical mindset and client-facing skills, allowing you to engage meaningfully throughout the transaction lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include analyzing financial and operational metrics of medical practices, developing marketing materials for potential buyers and investors, negotiating transactions, collaborating with both buy and sell side legal counsels, and working with accounting firms throughout the QofE process.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in a DSO (Dental Service Organization) or MSO (Managed Service Organization) environment
- Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques
- Strong foundation in EBITDA and SDE analysis, valuation multiples, and M&A terminology
- Exceptional understanding of platform and bolt-on structures
- Experience in lending and underwriting for medical asset sales
- Familiarity with Salesforce and EMR/practice management systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, EagleSoft, EZDerm, or similar
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and recast financial statements of healthcare practices, including P&Ls, balance sheets, tax returns, and operational reports
- Draft, compare, and review IOIs and LOIs
- Create and maintain comprehensive valuation models encompassing EBITDA normalization, pro forma projections, and various scenario analyses
- Pull and analyze data from practice management and EMR software, reconciling operational metrics to financial reports
- Assist in preparing Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), teasers, and financial exhibits for active transactions
- Contribute to due diligence processes, including managing data rooms and responding to queries from buyers and investors
- Conduct thorough market research and benchmark practices’ financial performance against similar entities and transactions
- Support brokers and directors with insights regarding deal structuring, pricing strategies, business development preparation, and negotiation tactics
- This position involves regular interaction with clients, buyers, CPAs, analysts, and attorneys, and significant responsibility in transaction management.
