Cobalt is hiring an M&A Senior Associate to be an integral part of its M&A efforts. Senior Associates will have responsibilities that span the entire M&A transaction process: financial statement analysis, financial modeling and valuation, transaction structuring, Letter of Intent and legal documentation negotiation, operational and legal due diligence, third party advisor management (lawyers, CPAs, consultants), seller relationship management, legal documentation, debt financing, and presentations for the Board of Directors.
Senior Associate will report to Cobalt Director of M&A, Tyler Smith, and will have daily mentorship from C-level executives, particularly Tyler Hoffman (Co-CEO, M&A) and Jose Emanuelli (EVP, M&A). In addition, M&A Senior Associates will work directly with C-level executives across Finance and Operations and have exposure to all facets of the business. M&A Senior Associates are expected to develop rapidly, and successful professionals will be offered a significant amount of upward mobility within Cobalt.
We estimate the total compensation package to be: $250,000-$270,000 (includes base and bonus). We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, 401k match, and flexible time off.
