Profound is on a mission to help companies understand and control their AI presence. As Manager of the Mid-Market Account team, you will oversee a team of Account Managers supporting mid-market customers to ensure they realize strong ROI from our platform and grow their committed spend through additional usage, use cases, business units, and products.
You will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to help customers realize value and achieve their AI search goals while building a high-performing, revenue-driven account management function.
Hire, lead, and mentor a team of mid-market Account Managers focused on existing customers, driving a culture of performance and net revenue growth
Partner with Engagement Management to align customer value delivery with commercial outcomes
Develop strategic outreach and pipeline management tactics tailored to mid-market customers, aligned with retention and growth targets
Build relationships with customers and executive stakeholders to drive long-term engagement and account expansion
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Sales to align strategies and deliver customer value
Establish playbooks, performance metrics, and best practices to ensure consistent quota attainment and operational excellence
Proven SaaS account leadership experience with a strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
Experience building, motivating, and retaining high-performing teams that consistently hit net revenue retention goals
Experience developing scalable playbooks and coaching teams to execute against them
Resilient and goal-oriented, with experience driving predictable revenue growth
Strategic and adaptable, able to tailor approaches to the unique needs of mid-market customers
Passionate about AI and its impact on how people search, discover, and build
Experience in search or marketing technology is a plus
This is an on-site role based in our Union Square, NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.
For this role, the expected base salary range is $130,000 to $195,000 before variable compensation. Profound’s total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, variable compensation, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
