We’re looking for a Manager or Sr. Manager of Strategic Finance to build and own the analytical backbone of GridCARE’s growth. You’ll be the person executives turn to when we need a crisp model and an investor-ready deck — fast. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves ambiguity, moves quickly, and can translate technical value into CFO-relevant outcomes.
Build and maintain forecasting, scenario modeling, pricing, and long-range planning systems to support fast, high-quality decisions.
Own core financial models (revenue, margin, pipeline conversion, capacity/throughput, headcount) and continuously improve assumptions, inputs, and data hygiene.
Drive analysis across unit economics, GTM efficiency, and R&D leverage; surface the “few numbers that matter” and the actions they imply.
Pressure-test growth opportunities, partnerships, and strategic investments with clear, decision-ready frameworks.
Translate technical value into CFO-relevant outcomes and crisp collateral (e.g., investor narrative, case-study economics, ROI framing, board/investor-ready materials).
Lead creation and refinement of investor- and board-facing materials: pitch deck iterations, board decks, fundraising analyses, and investor Q&A support.
Support fundraising and diligence workflows end-to-end, including data room materials and rapid-turn analysis for investor requests.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product/Engineering, and Operations to to bring financial rigor to strategic initiatives — pricing, packaging, GTM efficiency, R&D leverage, and investment decisions.
Build lightweight dashboards/scorecards and establish reporting cadences to track operational + financial metrics.
Required
4–7 years of experience, including minimum 2 years of investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or VC investing.
Familiarity with venture-backed financing models; experience supporting multiple Series B+ financings (as an operator or investor).
Expert-level financial modeling and analytical skills (Excel/Google Sheets).
Excellent slide-building and storytelling skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides); can produce executive- and investor-ready decks quickly with strong attention to detail.
Strong executive communication skills; able to turn ambiguity into structured analyses and clear recommendations.
High ownership mindset and willingness to move fast in a high-velocity startup environment.
Preferred
MBA preferred but not required.
Prior experience creating board materials, investor collateral, and diligence responses end-to-end.
Experience in infrastructure, energy, data centers, SaaS, or other technically complex businesses.
