Included Health is seeking a Manager, Technology Portfolio and Operations to build and lead our Vendor and SaaS Ops function within Tech Services. You will own the SaaS portfolio and renewals across Digital Workplace, ERP Technology, CRM Technology, and Clinical Applications, driving better value from our vendors, reducing waste and providing clean inputs into Procurement and Business Operations.
This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the VP of Technology Services, with a mandate to turn data into decisions, and decisions into measurable savings and portfolio health improvements. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities:
-
Maintain a single, accurate SaaS inventory and Service CMDB with clear ownership, tier, purpose and lifecycle for each service.
-
Run the renewals calendar and sourcing pipeline, ensuring upcoming expirations are visible with the right lead times by vendor tier.
-
Keep stakeholders aligned on what's coming up, where they have risk, and where we have savings opportunities.
-
Analyze SaaS/third-party spend and utilization to uncover duplication, under-utilization, and consolidation opportunities.
-
Drive annual SaaS budget planning, justification, and forecasting across Tech Services, partnering with Finance and business owners.
-
Provide clear recommendations that balance cost, risk, and user experience.
-
Operate a single intake for new SaaS and renewals, triaging which efforts need full strategic sourcing vs express lane treatment.
-
Lead renewal business cases and recommendations using utilization, performance, and commercial data.
-
Coordinate with platform owners and business stakeholders to ensure decisions are well-informed and documented.
-
Partner with Procurement on RFx events: requirements, evaluation criteria, scoring, and award recommendations.
-
Provide requirements and feedback into the procurement tooling stack to support tiering, routing and renewal workflows.
-
Help ensure our processes support both a fast 'express lane' and rigorous strategic lane where it matters most.
-
Monitor licenses and utilization to surface ghost seats, overlapping tools, and under-used capabilities
-
Turn insights into concrete savings plans, including right-sizing, app rationalization waves, and platform consolidation where appropriate.
-
Partner with Digital Workplace and other platform teams to ensure license changes, deprovisioning and vendor exits are executed safely and completely.
-
Build, coach, and lead a small Vendor & SaaS Ops team focused on outcomes such as savings realized, cycle time, and portfolio health.
-
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Security, Legal, Business Operations and Tech Services pillars.
-
Set clear goals, track progress, and communicate impact to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
-
5+ years in SaaS operations, technology portfolio management, vendor management, or IT/Procurement roles.
-
Strong skills in spend and utilization analysis, with a track record of turning data into business cases and savings.
-
Experience partnering with Procurement, Legal, and Cybersecurity on RFx, evaluations, and commercial negotiations.
-
Familiarly with CMDB concepts and maintaining accurate service/vendor records. Exposure to ERP/P2P, CLM or strategic sourcing tools is a plus.
-
Proven stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable leading cross-functional discussions and influencing without direct authority.
-
Experience building or leading a small team and setting clear, outcome-oriented goals.
-
Prior experience working in high-growth, pre-IPO companies and/or industry experience in Technology or Healthcare preferred
-
ITIL, COBIT, PMP or other relevant certifications preferred
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
-
Capability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
-

-
Capability to work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
