As a Manufacturing Technician at MOO, you’ll be part of the East Providence manufacturing team, focusing on preparing and configuring a range of machines for production and engineering trials. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Maintenance team to diagnose and resolve setup‑related issues that impact production.
At the same time, the Maintenance team is responsible for managing equipment downtime, maintaining and improving process tooling, supporting the installation of new equipment and facility upgrades, coordinating with machine manufacturers on design or reliability concerns, and delivering training based on equipment performance and modifications.
The Manufacturing Technician will ensure that equipment, workflows, and processes are properly set up, maintained, and operated so they run reliably and consistently across all operations.

About You
Experience in manufacturing or production: You have hands-on experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, where you’ve followed established procedures, supported equipment setup, and helped ensure production targets are consistently met through rapid resolution of processing issuesMechanical aptitude: You’re skilled in working with machines, tools, and mechanical systems. You can quickly diagnose setup issues, perform adjustments, troubleshoot both minor and major equipment problems with confidence, and know when to escalate or seek additional technical supportAttention to detail: You bring a sharp eye for precision, ensuring equipment is configured correctly, safety standards are met, and every setup supports high‑quality, reliable production output. You can identify and clearly communicate opportunities to improve equipment reliability or process efficiency based on your understanding of the operations and how they drive achievement of manufacturing goalsCommunication: You are able to clearly communicate technical issues and procedures to others with a range of capabilities, including detailed explanations of issues to technical experts as part of troubleshooting and improvements, as well as simple explanations to non-technical resources to ensure problem resolution, effective corrective actions, and ongoing training
