Market Analyst (Russian speaking)
We’re seeking a seasoned Russian speaking analyst to deliver high-quality research for the global media and clients.
You’ll join a team of analysts across the world, producing daily commentary in a fast-paced market with tight deadlines, responding to media requests and supporting sales/retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Create market commentary on FX, crypto, commodities, indices, and stocks.
- Produce bespoke market reports that will be circulated to various media channels.
- Respond to media requests in a timely manner, meeting tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with marketing on content calendars and localization for Russia.
- Provide real‑time insights during high‑volatility events to alert clients and media.
- Record weekly videos covering key financial themes for week ahead
- Record regular educational webinars explaining trading fundamentals and strategies.
- Ensure all content complies with local regulations and internal compliance policies.
Qualifications
Requirements
- 3+ years financial services or market research covering multi‑asset markets.
- Strong grasp of technical analysis and macro drivers.
- Confident public speaker; comfortable hosting webinars and live market sessions in Russian and English.
- Fast thinker and able to distil complex topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Proficient with charting platforms, economic calendars, and data terminals.
- Solid writing skills in Russian and English; experience producing short‑form and long‑form content.
- Energetic, self‑directed, and comfortable working to newsflow and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in economics or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have
- Past media experience and contacts – live television, radio and print
- Knowledge about the Russian economy
- Existing audience or media presence in Russia.
