How you will contribute
The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with the FP&A team and business leaders to support financial planning, forecasting, and performance management while serving as a key link between financial analysis, business insights, and enterprise data systems. This role requires technical expertise in database design and monitoring, proficiency with database tools and dashboards and business analysis capabilities to ensure accurate, scalable, and actionable financial insights.
The Senior Financial Analyst will help design, maintain, and enhance financial reporting systems and data models to ensure data integrity and usability across the organization, in support of the Company’s forecasting processes, performance assessment and operational decision-making. Experience working with ERP systems, such as Netsuite and Salesforce is a plus.
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational drivers, evolving business needs, and data requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational dashboards, reports, and data models using SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
- Ensure financial reporting systems and underlying source data are accurate, reconciled, and well-documented.
- Support the annual budget process and monthly forecast updates, incorporating business and operational changes into financial models.
- Prepare and deliver management reporting on revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators, including clear variance analysis and business commentary.
- Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, identify root causes of variances, and review findings with management.
- Support and maintain key metrics used for Board reporting, investor materials, earnings calls, audits, and other executive presentations.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to improve data structures, reporting processes, and automation.
- Provide ad hoc financial, operational, and data analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial planning, reporting, and business intelligence processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, or a hybrid finance/data role.
- Strong database and business intelligence experience, including advanced SQL and Tableau (or similar BI tools).
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and data validation; strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations.
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar) is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, business-partnering mindset.
- Proactive, curious, and analytical, with the ability to question assumptions, validate data outputs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across finance, business, and technical stakeholders.
