GLOBAL TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION

NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution is responsible for the licensing and distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of television and streaming platforms in the U.S., U.K. and in over 200 territories internationally. NBCUniversal’s content portfolio includes a vast and diverse library of more than 6,500 feature films and 170,000 television episodes, including current and classic titles, non-scripted programming, kids, sports, news, long-form and short-form programming from Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Universal Television, UCP, Universal International Studios, Sky Studios, Universal Television Alternative Studio, NBC Late Night properties, DreamWorks Animation, Telemundo, Universal Pictures Content Group, as well as locally produced content from around the world, and more. Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.

 

Role Purpose

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting a team that manages range of responsibilities including international distribution marketing for titles from Sky and Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG), FAST marketing and creative services, and SkyShowtime client marketing support. The role reports to the Marketing Director and will work with NBCUniversal’s associated studios plus the NBCUniversal marketing and sales teams to coordinate marketing and sales efforts. The role may also provide overall support for the entire Marketing/Creative Services team, when needed. 

 

Responsibilities:

International Marketing for Sky Studios (Sky) & Universal Pictures Content Group (UPCG) Titles

  • Sales Support – Provide the NBCUniversal Global TV Distribution sales teams with the tools they need to sell programming, such as pitch presentations, sell sheets, one sheets, and the ideation of AV and static creative materials.
  • Promotional Asset Management – Coordinate with both Sky and UPCG marketing teams to obtain robust suites of promotional assets which can be used by NBCUniversal’s international licensees to promote the respective content in their markets.
  • Client Servicing – Supply promotional materials and campaign information to NBCUniversal’s international licensees, while also managing creative approvals of localized materials.
  • Digital Screening Portal – Ensure all Sky and UPCG titles are available for sales and clients to view on Global Distribution’s screening website and iOS enabled app, NBCUView.

 

FAST Channel Creative Support

  • Ideate new channel creative such as logos, artwork, and AV to be utilised by NBCUniversal’s FAST partners.
  • Work with agencies to resize and QC approved promotional assets to partner dimensions.
  • Archive FAST partner deliverables and maintain organisation of the FAST Dropbox site.
  • Create sales materials such as presentations and sell sheets.
  • Support additional opportunities as needed.

 

In addition, the Marketing Coordinator will provide:

  • Special Event Support – Project manage and assist as needed. 
  • Special Projects Support – Provide support, as needed, including but not limited to promotional/premium ideas, presentations, digital transformational projects and more.
  • Administrative Support – The role will provide general support to the Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, and VP of Brand Marketing and Events.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Basic:

  • Minimum 1 – 3 years of marketing related experience at an agency, media company, or integrated marketing sales organization
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel plus knowledge of Adobe suite applications is advantageous.
