Join our team as a Material Handler!
Responsible for receiving, storing, staging and moving raw materials, components and finished goods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ensures accurate inventory, timely material flow to production, adherence to safety and quality standards, and efficient use of material-handling equipment
Shift: 12p-6p Thu; 6a-6p Fri & Sat; 6a-4p Sun
What you will do
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quantity, condition and accuracy against purchase orders; report and document discrepancies or damage.
Unload/load trucks and verify shipment contents using receiving documents and scanning/RFID equipment.
Store materials in designated locations and maintain organized, labeled inventory.
Stage and deliver materials, kits and components to production lines and work cells on schedule to support continuous production.
Pick, pack and prepare finished goods for shipping; stage outbound shipments and assist carriers as required.
Perform cycle counts, physical inventories and routine inventory reconciliation; investigate and resolve variances.
Operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently (forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, reach truck).
Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records in ERP/WMS systems; update documentation (packing lists, inventory movement logs, nonconformance tags).
Comply with company quality standards and handle nonconforming materials per procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all EHS and PPE requirements.
What it takes
High school diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience (preferred for entry-level roles: relevant training or internships).
Forklift certification and demonstrated safe operation of powered industrial trucks (or willingness to obtain certification).
Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP/WMS or barcode scanning systems.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to read shipping/receiving documents and perform basic math.
Experience in a manufacturing environment (CNC machining, injection molding, sheet metal, or additive manufacturing).
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.
Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation and root cause problem solving.
OSHA or other safety training
