Maternity Nurse - Lausanne, Switzerland (24h/6 Live-in Position)

A lovely family based in Lausanne is expecting their second baby in January 2026 and is looking for a professional and experienced Maternity Nurse to support them during the first few months after the birth.

Position Details

• Schedule: 24 hours per day, 6 days per week
• Duration: 3 months

Responsibilities

• Provide full maternity and postnatal care for the newborn
• Establish and maintain feeding and sleeping routines
• Guide and support parents in all aspects of newborn care
• Ensure the baby’s comfort, hygiene, and safety at all times
• Handle baby-related nursery duties (bottle sterilizing, laundry, etc.)
• Offer advice and reassurance to the parents while respecting their wishes and parenting style

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist
• Proven track record of newborn and postnatal care experience and checkable references
• EU passport or valid Swiss work permit
• Professional, discreet, and adaptable personality
• Excellent knowledge of newborn routines, sleep patterns, and feeding support
• Fluent in English
