The Opportunity

You’ll join our Solutions team, where we push the limits of autonomous robotic inspection intelligence. You’ll build cutting-edge sensing technologies to tackle the toughest real-world deployment challenges. Collaborating with engineers and partners, you’ll assess new technologies, design proof-of-concept, and swiftly transfer promising ideas to our product. ANYbotics transforms industrial plants in the energy, process, and utility sector by introducing robotics to a wide range of novel applications that so far were beyond reach. Our customers are large asset operators and industrial service providers pioneering the use of robotics technology for inspection and maintenance. Our mobile robot ANYmal uses legs for extreme mobility in complex environments, camera- and LIDAR-based sensing for full autonomy and obstacle avoidance, and AI for high-quality and consistent inspection results. Your Contributions

Develop innovative solutions for our inspection payload

Rapid prototyping of mechatronic subsystems, including hands-on assembly

Test your proposed concepts and report your findings

Your Profile

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar

Strong understanding of mechanical design

Skilled in ideation and rapid prototyping

Proficient in CAD software (Solidworks or other)

Team player with a proven ability to work autonomously

Excellent communication skills in English both verbally and in writing

Bonus Points

Hands-on experience with robotic systems and sensor integration

Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

Experience with technical drawings and familiar with GD&T concepts

Programming experience, ideally on embedded devices
