Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong AutoCAD proficiency and hands-on experience with equipment testing, analysis, and validation. This role involves designing mechanical systems, supporting testing initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure products and equipment meet performance, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and modify mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using AutoCAD
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Conduct equipment testing, validation, and performance evaluations to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
  • Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports for mechanical equipment and systems
  • Analyze test data, identify performance issues, and recommend design improvements or corrective actions
  • Support prototype development, fabrication, and assembly activities
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to resolve design and production issues
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
