About the role
We’re looking for a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Developer who combines strong engineering skills with a good understanding of finance processes. You’ll build and maintain solutions that support core financial operations and integrations across our enterprise landscape.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business problems, collaborating closely with Finance stakeholders, and delivering robust, scalable ERP enhancements.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain standard D365 F&O features, customizations, extensions, and follow best practices
- Deliver features across finance-related modules such as GL, AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, and financial reporting enablement
- Build and maintain integrations (e.g., via OData/REST, Data Entities, DMF/recurring integrations, and file-based imports/exports), including optimizing high-volume integrations where API-based approaches have performance limitations
- Implement and optimize batch jobs, performance improvements, and monitoring
- Write clean, testable code; set up or adopt CI/CD pipelines and release management processes as needed.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Finance teams, and other engineers to translate requirements into working solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years development experience with Dynamics 365 F&O
- Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture, security roles/duties/privileges, data entities, and batch framework
- Integration experience using Data Entities/OData/REST services, and familiarity with middleware patterns
- Comfortable working with Azure DevOps (work items, repos, pipelines)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, including performance troubleshooting
- A good understanding of financial processes (GL/AP/AR/Bank/FA)
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
