MySQL Support Engineer

Role Overview:

Advansys is hiring a MySQL Support Engineer to manage and optimize our clients’ MySQL environments. The role involves performance tuning, troubleshooting, backup management, and ensuring smooth database operation and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage MySQL installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve MySQL database issues in real-time.
• Handle database backups, restores, and replication.
• Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and indexes.
• Ensure security hardening and version upgrades when required.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with MySQL administration and optimization.
• Solid understanding of replication, partitioning, and HA setups.
• Proficiency with SQL, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Familiarity with MySQL monitoring and performance tools.
